My First Coupon Adventure!

As you might guess I live for a good bargain. For this reason I have always held people who coupon and get loads of groceries for cheap in high respect (as long as I'm not behind them in line at Kroger).  I'm not talking about the people on shows buying loads of worthless junk because it's a penny, but mom's trying to cut down on their grocery bill. 

This week I was reading a blog call Passionate Penny Pincher and she inspired me to give it a try.  So I set off to Kroger early this morning (so not to be super annoying when it's busy) with my coupons in hand to give it a try!  And turns out it wasn't so bad!  Here's my loot.  I only paid $17.75 and saved $28.89. 

I will definitely be doing this again when I have the time.  Honestly, it did take some time but, I can see how once you get polished at it it won't take much more time at all if you already look at the weekly ads to make a list like I do.
